Gold n Glory - рядом не валялся с таким шедевром немецкого прогрессива, как Fading Beauty (1973)!!!
Вот, например, только одна из восторженных (восторг которой я тоже полностью разделяю) рецензий:
"Fantastic underground symphonic masterpiece recorded back in 1973. Originally released privately in early 1974, this has always been on collector\'s want lists commanding very high prices. Transferred from the original master tapes utilizing 128x oversampling, Fading Beauty has been given new life. The album consists of two long suites. The first is the melancholy two part "Autumn Fantasia". This all instrumental composition features lush waves of Mellotron, swirls of organ, intricate electric and acoustic guitar leads, and surges of bass and percussion. The second piece is a bizarre 21-minute epic entitled "Tharsis". This fantasy details the story of a giant bird, Tharsis, which returns to hatch her egg - EARTH! The story unfolds in a manner reminiscent of Genesis\' "Harold the Barrel." Although there are vocals, there are very long instrumental passages which allow the band to stretch out. Although the organ sound is suggestive of Tony Banks, the sound is most comparable to early Eloy."
Gold \'n \'Glory (был у меня на виниле) -в-общем, неплох, НО - это уже совершенно другая группа, играющая стандартный тевтонский металл. Насколько я помню,то ли продюссером был Удо Диркшнайдер.
Естественно - все ИМХО.
